100 Years of Südzucker Group

REC Tec AG was commissioned to handle the technical implementation for the Südzucker Group’s anniversary event. The centrepiece was a double-sided curved LED screen measuring 11,000 x 2,400 pixels, which was fed content via six media servers. The demands on content management, synchronisation and stable playback were correspondingly high and required a precisely planned system architecture. For connectivity, we relied on our Theatrixx system and end-to-end fibre cabling. “A clean technical infrastructure is crucial, particularly for projects of this scale: large volumes of data, large display areas and complex signal paths must function reliably at all times under live conditions,” emphasises media server operator Michael Memmersheim.
